my current loans have a 4.75% interest. would it be better to try to pay off what i can in terms of interest now, or save it as tax shelter for once i graduate (assuming that the average starting salary is 70-100K)?

If you liked your job, but things were not going good in the financial department. I have been working at the same place for over 2 years and I do not feel good about going to work no more. And yes, I understand that if you do not like it you should quit. Still be a grown up means that sometimes you have to put up with the sh1t. Besides I pay way to much in child support ($500 a month) and that's also another reason to not go. What's a stuck azz go person to do?

im considering selling avon products but i have to pay for things and if people dont buy very much and i only get 20% if the buy at least $25 worth of stuff ... i dont kno if it is worth only gettin 20% of the products amount or not.

We're looking to sell our house in the coming months and considering companies like Help-U-Sell to save money instead of using a traditional realtor. My sister's kid is geting around 25,000 from his grandfather's life insurance policy. She wants to invest it in something low risk but with a decent return. Are CD's good for this or are there other things that would be better? And also, what is a CD anyway?
