With so many corporations, entrepreneurs, and mom-and-pop businesses relying on borrowed money to finance their operations, wouldn't it follow that they will, at some point, raise their prices if it would cost them more to stay in business due to higher debt expenses?

My ex husband was ordered to pay all of our jointly combined debts in our divorce, but to my knowledge and credit report he hasn't. How do I go about repairing my credit or disputing these overdues, since they are no longer my responsibility? Pretty much everything is now in collections and I couldn't apply for credit for toilet paper at this point.....how do I fix it, I can't afford it all by myself!!!

Is it ethical?
If you do all the planning, financing, and preparation...and everyone has a great time...can you make a huge profit off of an event that makes more money that you put in?
Do some proceeds have to go to charity?
Can you take all profits?

Why do people patronize the big boxes? Shouldn't we spend our money in our own community and not help these corporate executives achieve huge bonuses? I'm tired of Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc. receving all the money. If you really look around they're not always cheaper!

I am 26, have a good job, make good money, but am married with mortgage and bills. Should I quit my full-time job to get through college? I have approx. 1 1/2 years to go. I don't get financial aid, and want to put off student loans as long as possible. But I want to have a career and kids someday- which I won't until I graduate college. But I don't want to starve while I'm getting through school. Any suggestions?

Has anyone working for a major U.S. corporation had a good practice for breaking down the silos that exist between business units and corporate functions? If so, would you share your success stories and methods used? What kind of culture fosters good cross company collaboration? Are their dashboards that measure this? Good books or articles on the topic?
