I interviewed with this Employer in April and I get calls from them periodically asking me if I am still interested. I tell them yes and they let me know it will be a couple of weeks and they will make a descision. They call again after two weeks ask again and lets me know I am in the top two candidates. I am told they will call me by this day and let me know something for sure either way and still haven't heard nothing. Should I call them back? I can't stand this waiting game it is driving me crazy.

i'm thinking of getting myself a second account. i do admit that i'm bad with money (i get money, and then i spend it. then it's gone). this way i can really save money for myself. i know i can save money if i could open a second account. may be have it frozen. i could still put omey into it, but can't take anything out for at least a year from now.

i found that you can make a good life without going to college and not having to be famous, so why when the economy is dying anyway and society cant provide jobs for everybody as it is do we constantly force ppl to send there kids to school instead of just giving them a farm to work on at the age of 13. not only that most famous ppl make more money than the ppl who actually aid the modern society, i could see the reason if there were jobs and if the army didnt need ppl but you can always go to the army and the ngo from there. To me this is gonna be an ongoing problem for a long time because we cant organize the country whe nits not our top priority

I have an awesome restaurant idea. I have a huge potential customer base for this idea, which is between 20-60 million Americans who have specific dietary needs that are not addressed on any menu that I have seen. Basically, I have the concepts for the menu items, which I think will really help out this group of people. I don't really want to run the restaurant myself, mainly because I have never worked in one and don't want to quit my day job. There are so many millions of people that could be helped by the ideas I have, but it is difficult to know where to begin. Basically, I want to get paid for my intellectual property, so I was looking at the idea of selling franchises. I just don't know where to begin. Can I sell a menu, or do I need a business plan? How do I pitch my ideas without having them stolen? Do I look for an investment angel, or do I take out a small business loan?

What is the best approach for someone who doesn't actually want to run the restaurant?

I had an interview on May 17th for a job I really want. The interview went well! It was supposed to be 1 hour, but ended up being 1.5 hours and a 30 minute tour of the facilities. I informed them that I would be going out of town the next week, but that I would still check my messages and sent them a thank you card for the interview.

I did not hear anything at all while I was gone. When I came back on June 1st, I called and was informed that I would need to wait an additional two weeks as the HR department was giving them problems and they had to interview internally.

Thursday will mark two weeks since that call. When should I call them? Also, why is there the difficulty with the HR department? Is that normal? What else can I do, besides apply for other jobs?
