I'm pregnant and I have blue cross now, they cover up to 80 percent of the birth and delivery. Is there something else I could get to cover the other remaning balance.

It depends on what state you are in. Some states are guaranteed insurable therefore you can get insurance through any company. However, that means all the companies charge higher rates due to high risk insurees are bundled with low risk.
If you are in a medically underwritten state (like I am in Michigan), then you are best off sticking with your current coverage or possibly switching to a Blue Care Plan (depends on whether it is offered or not) but you will be paying more.
If you go with a broker that sells any insurance, or something off of the net, you will be looking at waiting periods. Also, most companies consider being pregnant a preexisting condition (technically it is) and therefore wont cover it if you buy your policy while being pregnant.

There are hospitalization supplements like Aflac, etc...but they are not worth the money you'd spend on them. They only cover a very minimal amount per incident. And once you are pregnant, you don't normally qualify for insurance. Your health care providers will work with you to pay off the balance. Just let them know your financial situation and they'll take monthly pmts and sometimes not charge interest. Good luck with the pregnancy and birth - enjoy that precious gift when he/she arrives! :-)
