I didnt remember what my salary was for a job i had a LONG TIME ago, so i guessed. Well; i found my old pay check stub from three years ago and i put 2 dollars more then what it really was. Now i want to find out if the prospective employer can find out how much i made at these old companies? To know if it's even worth staying in the running for this job. Im pretty sure these people to extensive checks. I dont want to look like i liar, i'd rather just forget i ever applied.

Regarding a purchase mortgage
1. If you shop around too much, it will lower your score
2. You have a "window" of 2 weeks to shop til you drop and it won't hurt your score.

You can meet someone and have sex... immediately. (legal)
You can give someone money for nothing. (legal)
You can stay in a hotel with someone you've been dating for a day. (legal)
You can go to Las Vegas and marry someone you just met. (legal)
You can break-up and never see the person your dating again. (legal)

but if you agree to meet someone, just to have sex - and then give them money - and then never see them again... it's illegal?

How in the heck can that be possible?

because I don't have the technical skills needed. Now I don't know what kind of job to look for and also how to break it to my parents. I was told I could work until they find someone else. The finiancial part is worrying me also.

Let me explain. I get paid via direct deposit; I never actually see a check, much less actual cash. I then turn around and electronically send much of that money to companies so I can pay my bills. No actual cash ever changes hands. So, is that money actually real? I guess my question is: with all of the electronic banking that occurs today, how much of that can actually be turned into cash? Is there actually a bill or a coin out there somewhere that represents every cent in every person's bank account? Or are we simply trading on principle now?

I'm 19 going on 20, I've only had two paying jobs; one which was a summer work program for youth, and the other working at a grocery store where I quit because of abuse. I fill out applications just about everywhere I see help wanted. I'm well groomed, polite, and punctual to interviews but I never get a second interview. In interviews I know I mess up with certain questions ("How would others describe you"?, "Give an instance where you've given exemplary customer service.", etc.), I just don't know how to answer these questions because I haven't had an experience that pertains to that or I can't speak for my friends. I also have trouble with references, I keep to myself, don't make many friends, and because I've only had two jobs (one where I can't expect a good reference) I don't have any co-workers or supervisors to vouch for me.
