When they ask you a question, answer it by giving an example. For instance, they ask...do you know how to use a computer? You would answer yes, then give an example such as, "I use a computer to type letters, also to research things by using the internet" etc, etc. This gives them more information to rate you as a potential employee than just a yes/no answer.
Another thing...be confident. You know you have potential, and you just need to let them see that. And one final thing, GOOD LUCK! I wish you success in your interview.

Take deep breath and try to shake off as much of the nervousness as you can when it's your turn.....I have been on both ends of an interview being nervous is always understood. Talk when asked questions yes and no answers don't show any of your personality also try to look the interviewer in the eye looking around or at the floor will make it impossible for you to tell how the interview is going and it's makes you look timid. Dress appropriate for the job you're interviewing for, the way you look tells the interviewer what to expect. Good Luck!

OK, this is it right here. Maintain eye contact at all times. Doing that shows no nervousness within you whatsoever. It shows you're confident. Also go in with scripted answers to such questions such as: What are your weaknesses, what are your strengths. These answers need to be scripted because they need to believe what you say. Sometimes (for me) nervousness makes me stutter a little. I fumble talking. If the answer is scripted then it will flow easily and sound good. Try to be like you know them too. A quick joke here and there to ease the tension is always good. If you can get a laugh out of the interviewer, even a small one is great.

Its important to come to the interview prepared. Don't act like your the greatest worker in the world, just be fair and responsible. Eye contact is a good idea. Dress professionally, and arrive 10-15 min. early. Ask questions (ie. are there other people interviewing for this job, what was it that made you call me into the interview, ask the interview questions about himself and his job duties, everybody likes to talk about themselves) I don't suggest discussing pay into much detail, if you have questions after the interview about compensation wait till the next time you two chat. I hope this helps and good luck!!

Of course you're nervous!!! I got my first job two years ago... I'm about to turn 18... I've had three jobs, all of which I was hired immediately at the interviews, so I'll tell you what I know. 1) Smile. Employers want someone who is friendly and confident in their abilities. 2) If you slip up or anything, apologize, tell them that you are nervous. Trust me, they understand! 3) Let them know how excited you are for the opportunity. Make sure you tell them what qualifications you have. I.e.- relevant classes in school, hobbies of yours that would gain you experience in anything, etc. Good Luck!

Okay when they ask a question repeat it back ex: Why do you think we should hire you? Your response: I think you should hire me because.......Also look them directly in the eyes. No gum chewing. Turn cell phone off. Take any piercings out. Do not sit down until they invite you to. Also at the end they will ask if you have any questions, always think of a question to ask to seem interested. Do not ask about pay though. Ask things such as is there room for advancement? Who will my supervisor be? What shift will I be working? Things like that. Good luck! Oh and sit up straight. And dress nice.

Be on time. Dress the part. Look the interviewer in the eye. Thank him or her for the interview. DO NOT ASK HOW MUCH YOU WILL EARN. Save that question for hiring day. Speak clearly. You will do just fine. Good Luck.

Speak clearly and keep eye contact! If you get nervous and feel that you want to look away, then look at the interviewer's ear. Sounds funny, but if you stare at a person's ear, it will look like you are staring right at them. Good luck!

Don't show that you are nervous be self confident, and when you shake hands do it firmly and with good self confidence. Don't get to much into your personal life, talk only about the place of the work if not don't show low self confidence. Good luck.
