I hated my job of 19 years (as a UPS manager) so I quit. I now stay home to watch the kids (3 and 8 months) while my wife works 30 hours a week . I also now have a life with more friends, I play ball 4 nights a week and enjoy the heck out of my kids.
Also, anyone saying that staying home and watching kids is the toughest job is full of it. It is the most gratifying thing in the world and with the time management skills I learned at my job, it is relatively easy.

I am also working on my Masters degree so I can become a teacher when my kids start school.

Grease gopher:
I work on machines, work for anyone in the business that asks, retrieve parts from all over town, haul feed to and from trucks, all while doing it for nine hours a day, at $5.75 an hour, paid, whenever my boss feels like it.
That's why I'm going to college, so I can get paid the same amount of money, while doing something I like.

Love the job hate the pay rate. I feel like I should be grateful to have a job aswell but then again, aren't our bosses counting on us to feel grateful to be employed so that we will put up with stupid little things.

Keep your head up.

I was told I would get 20 hours per week at $18 per hour, but I've been "working" for three weeks and haven't been put on the schedule for one hour (except twenty-five hours of training). Needless to say I'm looking for a new job already!
