I absolutely would call them back, if it is after the day they say they will call you. Just say you hadn't heard from them and was wondering what the status was.

Yes you should call them back. It never hurts to show initiative. If I was you though I would really think about wanting to work for this company though. The reason I say that is if they've keep you on a string about this job for two months and have yet to call to let you know their decision regardless of if you got the job or not then that shows the morals of that company. If you should get hired then how are they going to treat you as an employee. It's something you should really consider about.

Call them back and ask for update. And to expedite things, just inform them that you are pursuing for jobs through other companies(even if you are not), and would be taking the first job offered. That way, that company may not want to lose you as a resource, and would expedite things. And never stop searching.
And also it is not a good idea to do an interview and wait on it for months. You have to continue searching until you get the job.

If they are calling after 2 months, chances are they hired someone and they are expecting some turnover. I would really check into the turnover rate for this employer and then move on. My bet is this is either a sales job or a job that sucks so bad, that they hire continuously, unable to hang onto help. Could be a high risk to lose job.

From my past experiences, it does not hurt to show a prospective employer that you are indeed interested and excited to work. I used to feel the same way, until, a friend of mine that works in Human Resources told me that it does not affect most employers opinions to call and let them know that you are still available for work and can start as soon as they let you know! Good luck!

Yes. Call them and tell them you need to know something now. Be up front and straight with them. If the position is really still open after two months it better be worth your waiting. Otherwize, move on.

You should def. give them a ring. If they tell you that you will have an answer by a specific time and they do not call you, and then you choose to not call them, you are showing them that you are no longer interested in the job. It could cause you to lose it.

yes, call them and follow up!
at least they are calling you. it took 3 rounds of interviews and 2 1/2 months to get hired at my last position.
just follow-up until they tell you that the position was filled....either by you or someone else.
take care and good luck!

You should call them back, at least one week after the last contact. At the same time, you should keep on interviewing with other companies.
Good luck!

Call them back, if the decision hasn't been made yet then they will see you are very interested and this might increase your chances of getting the job.
