Baby sitting pay depend on the area where you live, the number of children you are babysitting, and the length of time you watch them. If you are doing it as a summer job or if you are doing it as just for the evening or day. Where I live for an evening out it's $5 an hour for one child, and every other child adds a $1 to it so if I have 3 children I pay $7 an hour. If the babysitter has to fix a meal or does any cleaning up of the home, there is added cost.

I suppose it depends on where you live. I am in Ohio in a rural area where it is small towns. Around here I normally pay 10 for the first 2 hours and then 2 dollars an hour per kid after that. Generally I base it like that but if I ask for like a late night babysitter or something I will pay normally bout 20-25 for a time frame of 6pm-midnight 1am because I know that they are already fed and prepared for bed and they go down for bed at 9 so the sitter was sitting there for a few hours by themselves for the most part but they were willing to stay late so ......... this is general................... and I have two younger children.

i charge usually 3 dollars an hour, as long as the kids arent too wild.......lol. Sometimes, if they're really well behaved, and dont cause much trouble, I only charge 2. Of course, it also depends on how many kids you are babysitting.
