i would like for you nice people here to suggest some sea salts for me this will be my first piercing and i would like to get it right. on the other hand i am totally lost when it comes to the sea salt rinse i get how to do it i just don't know which kind to buy. if anyone out there cn help plz do.

The reason I am curious about this is I have two. One on my left index finger representing my wedding band. I am allergic to jewelry so can not wear one. The other is on my ankle it has both of my daughters last name on it with a rose on each side representing both of them. I have been told most men think women with tattoos are tramps, why?

About a week ago I got a tattoo that cover's my whole foot. Ive followed the artist intruction's and i am not putting lotion on it. I noticed that there is some peeling,but its just one little piece. IS this normal? What is the difference between peeling and scabbing? On the intructions it says it should not scab if i religously put the ointment and lotion on it.

On the inside of my ankle (just above bone) i had my sons name: michael & a heart, was abusive relationship (2 save being hurt) had my ex's 4 letter name 2 above & slightly 2 the left of my sons name with a similar heart at the start...black quite thick slightly 60's style writing

cut a long story short managed to get out of relationship few yrs later, one of the first things i did was cover up his name, went in, chose there & then (silly yes, but i was in a bit of a state) because of black writing they said the tattoo would need 2 be black, so i have a black "cute" duck above my sons name, with the 1st heart partly behind the duck & a couple a waves like water between the two, probably max lenght 1 & half inch & height 1 inch max, thing is i would love to change it, it doesnt look right to me, reminds me it's a cover up, can i have anything done? as it is mostly black? any ideas?

i was planning on geting a TAT of an aztec snake at the top of my foot, but i know that sometimes it looks tacky on people depending on wat TYPE of tat it is...or should i have it wrap my ankle? ..im open for any suggestions!!

Hey everyone, I really want to get a few tattoos, Im 21 years old, but I am definitely waiting till Im older just to make sure I want what I have in mind, or that I dont get bored of what Im thinking of, etc. ...., Im going to be in sales, business manager, or something like that and kind of know that I am going to making pretty good money. Has anyone had a problem with having a tattoo even if it is a place you can cover up with a good salary? I want to be able to hide mine, not just for work but because I like some spots better than others so no offense to those with tats showing I think thats awesome.

So I guess anyone out there with 6 figure salaries or close to that, that have tats and have had problems even if they are covered? Also do you regret them? I dont care how I look when Im 80, but do you still like the design or picture of what you got.

Sorry for it being so long and scattered, but those are the only things im worried about...thanks a lot everyone in advanced

there is a rare alergy that some people have to red tattoo ink known as the "red reaction". it is my understanding that the red pigment is made from a kind of crustation. i have always wondered if there was a connection between the two. as a tattoo artist i run into this so rarely and i just recently had this idea. has anyone here had the "red reaction"?

I have a tattoo that says redneck with a heart around it...its blue in color and i would like to get it covered looking for anyone such as a tattooist that would know if i would be able to cover it with a pretty sexy fairy hehe with maybe flowers or a butterfly. I have a smallish (2" x 4") dragon tattoo on my outer thigh that I've had for 10 years. Sometimes, when I get a mosquito bite on or near the tattoo, the whole tattoo will turn into a hive. The swelling will be confined to just the area that's been inked. It doesn't itch, and the swelling goes away in a couple of hours. It's happened maybe 8 times since I got it, but seems to be happening more frequently. The inks are black, blue, yellow and green. Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know what causes it? I'm not really worried, just curious.
