My sister and i are best friends. We want matching tattos on our hip. She's in the military and going to Iraq soon. We want to get a tatto but have no clue as to what. Anyone have any ideas?

Write in poetic, and old English letters a little piece of a sentence like example,
You can put on your hip; Through thick and thin
Your sister; We are sisters within
[[sorry kinda corny lOl]]
make something like that up and make a beautiful design around it if you would like, so when you two stand next to each other its like a whole sentence, on each body, together. To me i think its pretty cool, I'm even thinking of doing that with my best friend or when I'm married my husband but not on my hips my wrist.

something that you two share- something that will mean something to both of you. maybe a flower- if you dont want completely the same. one can get a lily while the other an orchid. something thats unique to the you but at the same time matches with hers
i have two sisters and i have matching tattoos with both of themmy dad died and we have the butterfly kisses song as our song. so we all got butterflies together

plan on spending a day in a tattoo parlor just looking at all of your options. figure out what you absolutely do not want and then narrow down your options from there. after the both of you decide wait a week and then go get it done.

You should get a tattoo that goes together. Like maybe a line you like, or a song lyric. With half on you and half on her. Go to bmezine.com they have alot of tattoo ideas.

I agree with one of these answers. Get an eagle or something that has to do with America or freedom. Maybe like an eagle sitting on your sisters name with a flag in its mouth. Or something like that.
