I have one that was done by a good friend of mine that is a coverup of one that I had hated for 6 years (first tattoo I ever got, flash out of a book, small heart with a rose on left boob)... this friend and I had a history before I started dating my boyfriend, and when he started tattooing in his apprenticeship, I let him do my cover up as some practice...and my boyfriend broke up with me because he for some reason thinks that having that cover up done led to me and my friend having sex.... explain that one please? ::rolls eyes::: Anyways, I held my skin tight for him, bra was on, tank top was on, and he didnt see anything except the area he was tattooing because he respected my relationship, which is why he didn't hold my skin tight.... I even asked my boyfriend to go with me to have it done...he wouldn't.
So yes, I regret that tattoo because my boyfriend was who I really wanted to get remarried to and raise my children with.

Tattoo removal isn't as great as one would think. I know someone who got a tattoo on his face when he was 14. He got it removed later but you can still see some of it. I would suggest a small tattoo praising God. (over the old one) You can always look at it and remember something special about you. I have a 2 tattoos - they are very symbolic to me. Those are the best. :)

I don't but I have a friend who joined the US Army shortly after high school. He had a girlfriend named Carrie (*Name was changed to protect her identity).
Right after boot camp, he visited a tattoo parlor and place a unicorn on his left upper arm and her name above it.
Shortly after being deployed to Germany, he received the "Dear John" letter informing him that she did not want to wait for him and she fell in love with another guy.
Down, but not defeated, he found a tattoo parlor in Germany where he modified the tattoo. On the top it said, "Carrie's" and on the bottom of the unicorn it said, "Bar & Grill".
On occassion somebody would see it and say something like, "Hey, I've been there before" and he would reply, "I'm sure that you have!".

no, I love both my tattoos but they mean something to me, I think that makes a difference. I didn't just get pretty pictures. They represent milestones in my life.

Not a one of my 8. I love all of mine. They all have special meaning to me -- many of them are religious or spiritual in nature. I love them. Even the matching one with my boyfriend is special to me. Even if for some reason we broke up, I wouldn't regret it. It's still a significant part of my life--something I would NEVER want to forget or regret.

Yes I have a 4 leaf clover on my left breast. About 15 years ago somebody called me their lucky girl and I thought we would be together forever. I want it off so bad.

Nope. I've been really selective in my choice(s). I want something I won't be annoyed with when I'm 60!
