I am going to get another tattoo in a few weeks. and I think I've decided on a nautical star on the back of my neck. Or possibly a swallow. But if I get the star, I don't want just a plain old star, OR a star with flames. throw some ideas at me!

They aren't when their paired up with my height because I'm five feet nine inches tall and I have a size eight and a half to nine shoe. Are they that big? Do people make comments about your feet?

I've never had a bikini wax before. I have sensitive skin. I'm going to see my long distance boyfriend at the end of the month and was thinking of getting a wax before I go (I usually use Nair). I'm worried about having a bad reaction though and it looking/feeling really bad. Should I wait until after I see him so I can test it out first on my own?

If i wear a sunscreen lotion and then go out in the sun to tan, i know i will get the tan, but it'll just take longer to get it versus if i didn't have any sunscreen on...but doesn't that defeat the purpose? can't i just go out in the sun with no sunscreen, stay a shorter time in the sun, and get the tan?

This morning I woke up and found a decent size amount of blood on my pillowcase and a litle on my face by my mouth. I figured I bit my tongue or something but there were no bite sores in my mouth or on my tongue. I then checked my nose and ears and there was nothing. There are also no cuts or scabs on me. Has anyone ever had this occur?

I was putting some spray on tan on my girlfriend and she said it would work better if i rubbed it in. so of course i did : ) . and now my hands are really brown and wont go back to normal. It was yesterday that i did it. i tried rubbing alcohol, "oops" liquid remover, amonium something... How do i get this off!!!

I used to be so embarrassed about all my pimples that I had no social life at all. Nada! I could hardly even make myself go to work, and I didn't have any friends there. I imagined that people must be making fun of me, even if they weren't. I have tried various so called cures but no results whatsoever.
Does anyone know a good treatment for acne.

I've heard this old wives tale that you could have to have your tongue amputated from having it pierced and it getting infected. Has anybody heard of this happening? lol. Also, anybody had any issues with a tongue piercing?

i've been swimming consistently ever since i was little and i just stopped 2 months ago. now i have a break out of pimples on ONLY my FOREHEAD. why? i don't have it anywhere else at all. i dont have bangs or use any hair products or makeup either. i've tried the biore strips, self heating mask, neutrogena deep cleanser, st. ives scrub and a lot more but none seems to work. most of it is jus sore redish bumps on my forehead. not totally pimples. you know. how do i prevent them from reoccuring?

I avoid mirrors.The only mirror I don't avoid is one I have set up with special lighting that makes me look o.k.Even then I won't look in the mirror if I have my contacts in.They have to be out because I hate the way I look.I'm so confused because a lot of people tell me I'm pretty,cute,hot,attractive,adorable...but I've had others tell me I'm ugly and not attractive.Growing up I was teased a lot for my big nose,and it was ruining me so my parents paid for a nose job.I was 15.I am now 30 and I still feel ugly.I haven't had a real relationship for 4 years and I just feel like I've wasted so much of my life hating the way I look, but I can't help it when I have to face myself in the mirror everyday. About 1 year after the nose job a guy I liked made a comment that my body was hot but he kept looking at my face and wanted to puke.That was a long time ago but it's still with me completely.How do I face my looks?I hate that I focus on it so much, but it makes me not want to go out,etc.HELP

when i was younger, i was abused by my father, and started to pick at scabs and other things, because it seemed like it was the only thing i could control, and it seemed to be a way to get back at my dad... though it was only hurting me, i didnt understand that at that point b/c i was so young. this problem has contiinued with me as i have grown up. its a way that i take care of stress and so forth... im going to therapy for my self-mutilation, but is there any way to get rid of the scars from it????
