Well, as cool as that would be, unless you've already had children (or don't want to ever have any) I wouldn't do it. It will get really stretched out while you're pregnant, then get wrinkled up after the baby is born...
If you've already had, or don't plan on having kids, I think a sun all the way around your belly button would be cool. I've seen it before, and it looks very pretty.

I would wait until you have finished having children or it may end up looking worse than the scar. But, for an idea, you could go with the sun, a wreath of your favourite flowers, a circle of shells, leaves, a pair of fairies toes touching and holding hands, if your a dog or cat lover a circle of pawprints, a celtic cross, a pair of dolphins forming a loose ying yang symbol.

you could have a word or a short sentence going around your belly button or a design or something like that(if you can see it)
