Should I be nervous to think about what other people think about me?Or should I go on with life and forget about what other people think about me? I really hate this! lol

You shouldnt be nervous at all! We are who we are and there will always be people that make comments but just remember every person has there flaws. Take it from a guy that has 9 scars on his chest.
I get looks and hear comments but I just laugh cause I know the story behind them and the ones that are looking are the ones that have no room to talk.
Hold your head up high and show your scar off with pride!!

Scars are nothing to be ashamed of. Every scar you have shows bravery and standing up in the face of adversity. I am assuming you had the surgery for a condition such as scoliosis, to prevent spine curvature, since that's what most young people have back surgery for. Either that, or you were in an accident of some sort. Either way, you are lucky to be standing up straight and tall, and you need to embrace the scar, since I am guessing it's going to be there the rest of your life. If someone asks you what happened to your back, tell them how bravely you came through the surgery. But nobody will ask because we all have scars.
Also, if you feel especially self-conscious this summer since it's your first year with the scar, just let your hair grow and always wear it down when you're in your bikini. But I do think you should try to get comfortable with yourself now.

I have had back surgery too that left a long back scar on my back....u should try ur best not to expose that scar to the sun or else the scar will worsen....altho if u had ur surgery a long time ago then it doesnt really matter much just always apply sunscreen....
i always go to the beach with a bikini and i never had a problem, people won't think ur a freak or anything like that.....but if it STILL really bothers u and makes u self conscious then u can buy this scar reducing makeup called DERMABLEND and have someone apply it on ur back, its water proof and lasts for hrs and really is not that expensive....google it up

You should wear that scar like a badge of honor! After all, you only live once and you don't want to waste a single moment of life or let one opportunity slip through your fingers. Have a great Summer!

Just have fun this summer and don't worry about what other people think. If they think anything about it, it's their fault, not yours.
