I'm a teenager that has no money. Which means i can't go to the taning salon. But, I'm tanning outside in my backyard. It's working, but I'm reeeeeeeeally bored while doing it, so does anybody have any ideas on how to make my tanning experiance more fun ? =) I know, kinda wierd question, but you can get over it.

Does anyone know anything about the benefits of safflower oil on the skin? I was wondering if there's a chance it could prevent stretch marks. What about emu oil? Any experts or experience persons on either of these oils. I've been researching, but am yet to find anyone that has tried it for this purpose.

i am hlaf caucasian and half asian but my eyes are uneven. my right eye has a perfect crease and lid so it looks fully caucasian. its like taht cause it has 2 folds so it sucks a bit of the skin inwards to show my eye off fully. my left eye the skin on the end near the nose is more droopy so it hangs. its becuase it only has only one fold so the rest of the skin just comes down on my eyes. how can i give it a new perminent fold to make my eyes even. it sucks cause im half asian half caucasian but arent the races suppose to mix instead of dividing on my face. so can any1 help me. mean be realistic here please dont make fun of me and by the way im a guy.

I got my first hole 6 years ago, and occasionally get some white stuff and a sore lump at the hole when I wear studs (even Gold) without taking them out for about 3-4 days.

When I got my first hole they used Gold studs and a gun and I didn't have any problems with healing, etc. I am wondering if I should use a different metal and method since more research about sanitation and piercing methods has been done. I've read that Titanium is the best and the needle method, and that the pain factor is about the same. I just need some advice: Gold versus Titanium, and Gun versus Needle. Thanks!

I never wear shorts or skirts because I hate my birthmark that is visible. My legs are so nice except for my birthmark ruins it. Everyone always asks me why I never wear skirts or shorts and all I say is that it's not my thing when I really would love to wear them. My mom is always bugging me about it an it pisses me off! I'm having my 6th tattoo done later this month and I'm having writing going down my spine, it's quite large but will only take 1 sitting my artist said, anyway I was wondering how much it hurts, here is the other tattoos I have and the amount of pain I experienced if it helps...

Russia in writing on left hip - no pain
'love' in hebrew on right hip - tiny bit of pain
paw print on left foot - some pain, more than 'love'
anklet accross left ankle - VERY painful, no tears but incredibly painful
design on lower back - small amount of pain but took an hour so got used to it, felt quite nice as artist went on.

If that helps, can anybody give an idea how much this one is going to hurt? Many thanks.

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing some skin whitening research and would like to know more about this skin whitening thing.

All I know now is that for the skin whitening topical cream to work, the cream must be able to inhibit or reduce the production of melanin. It is usually done so by using HQ which contains mercury that can induce unwanted effect.

I have also come across Kojic acid along with variations of vitamin C that helps in inhibiting the enzyme which is used for producing melanin.

Can anyone give me more insights on this topic and if possible tell me some of those tyrosinase inhibitor that is "mercury-free" if there are any. Thank you.

in my view a tattoo's a personal life thing, you decide it according to what's meaningful to you - and so if you don't know what you want, you shouldn't get something? especially if you decide it on the basis of random people's ideas! anyone else concur?

So what specifically do your tattoos mean to you guys? I think that the majority of people here who get tattoos here have a rhyme and reason for doing so. This is also something that by the way I hope the vocal minority of people who always espouse how dumb they think tattoos are so maybe they will think twice and shut up.

The only tattoo I currently have is a raven. For me it is hard to explain why and for some this may sound dumb but I have always felt really connected with ravens as if a raven was my totem animal. Thus I choose to get a raven

Please be specific, if possible...for instance gender preferences and placement preferences.

Do men look better with eyebrow piercings or women with tongue piercings..should tattoos be placed only in certain places...and be of only a certain genre' of art?

What are your preferences, for yourself, others or the opposite sex in terms of sexual appeal??

I have several tats and piercings & feel that they are beautiful, but I must confess that placement and the genre' of art matter to me...I am not partial to cartoons and feel that certain piercings and jewelry are sexier on certain genders.

Let us in on your preferences...should be fun & interesting to hear the different takes.

Even from those who dislike them. LOL ^_^.
