Does anyone know anything about the benefits of safflower oil on the skin? I was wondering if there's a chance it could prevent stretch marks. What about emu oil? Any experts or experience persons on either of these oils. I've been researching, but am yet to find anyone that has tried it for this purpose.

Safflower oil is a good base oil for all skin types, but it isn't known for being 'great' for the skin. If you want to prevent strech marks, my theory is that you need to keep the skin as supple as possible and add some essential oils to the body oil that will help the skin regenerate.
I suggest Oyster nut oil, Wheatgerm, Sesame, Sea Buckthorn, Rose hip seed, Kukui nut, Evening primrose, Coconut, Calendula, Carrot, Borage, Avocado and Apricot.

Cocoa butter lotion has always been said to be best for keeping the skin moisturized and soft so as to help prevent stretch marks.

Never heard of using it anywhere other than fingernails and cuticles. For stretch marks, cocoa butter has always worked for me. To prevent them all together, you can use aloe vera lotion enriched with vitamins E & K

I just read about the benfits of it on Yahoo but I'm not sure about strech marks. As far as I know the only thing that can make them fade is time.
