I'm a teenager that has no money. Which means i can't go to the taning salon. But, I'm tanning outside in my backyard. It's working, but I'm reeeeeeeeally bored while doing it, so does anybody have any ideas on how to make my tanning experiance more fun ? =) I know, kinda wierd question, but you can get over it.

I am an older lady and tanning in the backyard was the thing to do before tanning beds were invented. I think tanning beds are much more boring than lying in the back yard soaking up the sun. In the sixties, my friends and I had a blast lying in the sun and seeing who was getting the darkest. I still miss it. The best fun was lying around the lake listening to music and meeting guys. I have also laid in a few tanning beds, but nerve had an fun in one.

listen to music, take your laptop out there, invite a friend, call someone, read a magazine, book, paint your nails, turn the sprinkler on, play with a dog, do homework, draw, whatever you do inside the house can be done outside too. and remember that you don't have to lay still you can just be outside and still get tan if you are running around, so maybe jog, walk in like a sportsbra and shorts. have fun.

Definitely listen to music and relax or call a friend and use an ear piece. You don't want a big white spot on the side of your face in the shape of a cell phone!

If you have an mp3 player or an ipod you could listen to it.
read a magazine
Call a friend and chat
read a book that you think you will enjoy
make a nice cold smoothie to keep you cool
have a friend come over and chat and she/he could lay out and tan with you
paint your nails

If it's working then cool , some fun things that you can do, is like have some friends over and have a water balloon fight or something. idk know if ur too old for that or anything but who doesn't like a good water balloon fight! I mean hey invite some hot guys and ur set! lol!
