This morning I woke up and found a decent size amount of blood on my pillowcase and a litle on my face by my mouth. I figured I bit my tongue or something but there were no bite sores in my mouth or on my tongue. I then checked my nose and ears and there was nothing. There are also no cuts or scabs on me. Has anyone ever had this occur?

Well, a few things could have happened. You could have sneezed in your sleep, and if your nasal membranes were dry, the sneeze could have contained a little blood that looked like more when it mixed with the "sneeze juice." You could also have had a zit on your head under your hair that popped in your sleep. Or you could have bitten your lip or it just cracked from being chapped and it bled a little- lips heal up so fast, you wouldn't be able to see a cut. If you feel totally fine otherwise, don't worry about it. Oh, and also check your hands- if you have a cut on your fingers that opened up in your sleep and you scratched your face with the bleeding finger, that could have caused the blood by your mouth too.

I have never had this happen but it is possible you but yourself and it already healed. Your mouth (and any other place on your body where there is moisture like eyes, nose, throat and vaginal areas) heals the faster than any other parts. So, though there are no sores now, it is entirely possible it healed overnight. You also could have scratched the inside of your nose while sleeping and you can't see or feel the scratch. That is a sensitive area that also heals very fast.

well I used to get that when i was little, it was a nosebleed. that doesnt mean that you have a cut or sore anywhere..I think it has something to do with the humidity or lack of in the air while you sleep.I might be wrong..but try a humidifier and see what happens.
