I was in a park and a car full of younguns drove up and started gving each other tattoos with a needle. They even offered to give me one, but I declined. Now I'm curious about the exact technique.

I am thinking about getting my first tattoo on my birthday in July and I don't know what to get. I mean, I think I want a lily flower somewhere or my name. I want to get the word "forever" inside my lip. I have 2 tats now but I was just curious if it was the same feeling and same pain as a normal tat. Maybe it hurt a little more or a little less... Any first hand experiences would be great!!

my friend mom is gonna get us a tat dis weekend and i dont kno where 2 get mine. i want mine a lil bit below my stomach but am thinkin ahead of time too. What if u get pregant one day and my stomach start to stretch i kno the tattoo is going to stretch too but will it come back to normal when i have my baby and my stomach is bak to normal? am just thinkin i dont wanna have kidz but who know wut can happen.

My husband is a tattoo apprentice, who is doing amazingly well with a tattoo gun :-) His shop has just 'promoted' him sort of in telling him that he can make his own appointments, but they're still apprentice tattoos, so he would just get tips if they're given. He's trying to get customers to come in and be willing to give him 'practice skin' but not getting very far. He's been handing out cards and talking to people on the street outside his shop and I've put an ad on craigslist, but we're not getting the turnout we had hoped for. Any other ideas? Are any of you tattoo artists that had problems getting practice? How did you overcome that obstacle? And if any of you are in Hollywood and wouldn't mind a free tattoo, call 323-465-7869, Atomic Tattoo (Hollywood Blvd & Bronson) and set up an appointment to meet with Kenny.

i have kinda a cold look kinda skin and i was born kinda purleish, and whenver i use a lotion it gives me nice looking skin for like five minutes, and then it comes back how do i make it look like i always have nice looking skin and not like it is now?

I want to get this tattoo, (the rune at the top). I love it but I wasn't sure where to put it. I plan getting another one of the back of my neck. I decided I would like this one best on my forarm (1/4 of the way between my elbow and wrist, closer to the wrist). I have two sisters and they both say that forearm tattoos are manly and I should get it on the back of my shoulder or actually over my wrist.
I think the shoulder would look unsymetrical with my neck tattoo, and I don't like the wrist idea because it is not as easily covered up.
So what do you think? Are forearm tattoos masculine?
