a flat is like using a razorblade, and only someone who couldnt tattoo for **** would still use one. GO GET AN APRENTICESHIP. you're apparently totally clueless and are intent on scarring anyone who has the stupidity to be your customer. I hope someone rats you out to the authorities so you can pay the $25000 starting fine and lose all your equipment. you deserve no less treatment for endangering others. That or heaven forbid you do screw up someone and they sue your *** for reckless endangermeant.

The difference are how they are grouped together. Mags are double stacked, and flats are flat. Also magnums are kinda stacked at an angle. I think the larger mags look kinda round, but my ex says they are not, that there are round needles too. Sorry about the misinformation the 1st time!

mags are in a circular pattern and usually are used for outlines....flats are used for shading and the needles are set up in rows...
