I had the skin on my stomach pierced today, underneath my bellybutton with a horizontal bar. How long can i expect it tolast? Is there any chance it wont reject? What can i do tokeep it as long as possible? Thanks!

I had my bf pierce my nose with one of those disposable ear piercing guns. Now the piercing has this little red bump on it and the ring goes through it. Is it infected? I read on other questions that it might be a keloid formed from the piercing *I think it's from cheap jewelry*. Should I take it out? or is there a way I can get a better quality ring and keep it clean so the bump goes away?

Oh and now sometimes when i take it out, if I push from the other side of my nose on the inside it almost looks like this skin comes out and there's some blood, I took a little of it out and it didn't hurt, what is that? It's almost like skin or whatever is inside the bump or deeper maybe?

I got a monroe piercing back in August 2006, so I've had it for a while and it healed fine. Lately though, I noticed that on the inside, a little flap of skin from the inside of my lip has torn away but is still attached. I think it was because of the backing or something, because its just this little clump of skin that came off but is attached at one point. What the hell is going on? There's no pain at all, I actually took off the jewelry today to see what the heck it was, but I didn't want to rip that little flap of skin off tho. Anyone ever had this??? please help!

I've recently found myself addicted to getting tattos. I've seen pictures of people with blacklight or UV tattoos, but none of them were african american. I was wondering would they show up under the blacklight on my skin before I go out and spend lots of money only to be let down in the end. Has anyone every had their cartilage pierced at Merle Norman? I really want to get mine done, and my mom is going to let me (since I am 17), but I am not sure where to do it, I really don't know much about cartilage piercings. What type of piercing does the stud and the loop or whatever. Will Merle Norman do that kind? When you get your cartiledge peirced do you have to put an earing in it right away like I had to when I got my lobes done? And if you do, does Merle Norman have them or do I have to bring my own. One last question, how much would it cost at Merle Norman?

ok i have oily skin and i have lots of black head and whit heads i want to know wht to use. i have been using all kind of thing on my face in the past but i have stop and now im not using anything!!! i dont even know how to begin.

1. i need a good oil free moisturizer the best doesn't matter how much it cost!

2. a good toner the best!

3. a good night cream if needed the best!

4.eye cream the best for fine lines
and some good products to remove black heads and white heads!

all of of those is for a girl with oily skin n young 19! i also need a good face remedy!

*~How to care for your tattoo

*~it takes about 2 weeks to heal, and 2 more weeks to settle in.
*~Keep your new tattoo bandaged for 1 hour. Remove bandage and wash tattoo gently with cool, and soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, lightly pat dry with a clean towel.
*~DO NOT re-bandage your tattoo.
*~DO NOT use vaseline or petroleum jelly.
*~DO NOT use alcohol or peroxide.
*~DO NOT pick or scratch tattoo.
*~DO NOT soak tattoo in shower or tub
*~Stay out of pools, hot tubs and oceans for 2 weeks.
*~Keep tattoo out of direct sunlight and tanning beds.
*~With clean hands, apply thin layer of antibiotic ointment such as Help It, Neosporin or Bacitracin 2 to 3 times a day for 4-5 days, after that switch to a good lotion.
*~Do not over lubricate your tattoo, don't let it dry out either. Should any seepage occur, gently dab off excess with a clean paper towel.
*~If a rash occurs (bumps on or around the tattoo as with allergic reaction) or redness persists, stop use and call your artist

I recently got my first tattoo. The line work is fine, the greens are fine, the gray is fine, but anything that was mixed with white has been completely pushed out of my skin. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen. But after consulting with tattoo artists from the area, most of them said that I had an allergic reaction to the nickel in the ink. So my question is, is there non allergenic/nickel free ink because if I can't get this tattoo fixed in a few weeks, it's going to look awful. If there are any tattoo artists out there that might be able to help I would really appreciate it.
