Try using a complex vitamin serum. Nicole Miller has one that is awesome even neutralizing dark circles under the eyes. Also make sure you are using a good ph balancing toner every day. This will help in and of itself because if your skin is balanced, it will eventually even out naturally.

exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate.....get a scrub and I would use it every other day for like a week,,,,,be gentle with it don't get crazy...that should help....I used to work for Clinique they have a great men's line....but you can find one at any drug store, just make sure you get one for the face, the grain is usually too big in the ones for the body. But you'll have to keep using it for a while,,,I use it once a week , it's just keeps the skin looking fresh.
what the exfoliating does, is takes off some of that dead patchy skin, that's why it looks dirty.
If that doesn't work then you probably do have something going on and I would see a dermatologist.

A transsexual woman's skin is softer than a man's because of the estrogen she takes. If she has not had complete electrolyis, the facial hair becomes softer and finer too. A transsexual man's skin gets coarser with testosterone and once the initial masculinization process takes place, grows facial hair which, like a young man going through puberty, starts out soft and then becomes dense. Hair on the head, although it recedes in male pattern baldness, usually gets thicker.

Oh my gosh, do not put Vaseline on your face and a toner certainly will not help even out skin pigmentation issues. Dude, you could have any number of issues with your skin. Some bacteria can cause unevenness in the skin tone. Sometimes hormones throw the skin out of whack. Past sun exposure can also wreak havoc. If you're super concerned with it, go to a dermatologist and ask to start using something like Tri-Luma cream or something with a mild amount of hydroquinone in it. It helps lighten and even skin tones.

Hi: you need to exfoliate. Invest in a good exfoliating cleanser. You should also use a glycolic acid cream. I use the Joesoef Skin Care glycolic acid face cream 8% and I call it my miracle cream. If you use it, I saw results overnight! It makes my skin so soft and smooth and even. I definitely recommend it. If you do use a glycolic, make sure you use a sunscreen in the day, and glycolic at night. glycolics are a type of alpha hyrdoxy acid, and those make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

It's not easy to so call "cure" un-even skin tone. My advise is try to look for products that could re-generate skin cells. I have been using a product named "Re-Care" for almost a year for my facial clients and results are satisfactory, although it takes longer period to see the results. The concepts is simple, once we have healthy skin cells, we won't be troubled by any skin problem!

my friend once raved about how rubbing a little bit of baking soda in your hand with a small amount of water is like the best and natural thing you can do to smooth your face and make the pores all the same size...this is because baking soda is natural so all the crystals are uniform in size! i've never tried it but it seems to me like it should work- at least worth a go! let me know how it goes if you decide to go for it

First exfoliate your face when you shower. Then you need to use a toner to tone your face and put some lotion on it at night before you go to bed.
