I agree with several people here...try aveeno. It is the BEST thing I have ever tired.
I have a problem where my lips get really dryand I even drink a ton of water and it still doesn't help! I've tired every kind of lip moisturizer, chapstick, carmex, etc., but they never worked for me. But when I tired aveeno it heaven sent! Right away my lips looked better and then after apply pretty much regularly all day, for two days, my lips were like a new set!
Another good thing I have found that works is pure shea butter. Not 7%, 10%, 15%...it has to be 100%. You can find it at several beauty stores and it usually sells farily cheap. Good luck to you!

I read an article years back about an active ingredient in Blistex and Carmex that actually make your lips addicted to their product so you buy more. I tried to find it, but couldn't. Sorry!

I'm a huge fan of Burt's Bees (www.burtsbees.com) or just plain Vaseline. It is thick, stays on, and has a nice cooling effect.

Just original chapstick. I especially like the ones in the blue cases (one's a lip moisturizer and the other's medicated- can't go wrong with either) also, I'd suggest exfoliating your lips at night and then sealing them up with some chapstick & vaseline. I exoliate by first putting on a little chapstick on your lips- wetting a corner of a wash rag, and just giving a little rub on the lips to loosen up and chpped skin, then drying them off with the dry side of the wash rag, then repeat if u need to- & seal it up like I described. Sweetdreams :)

I am a strong believer and user of Kieh's lip balm. When I had my braces on my girlfriend told me that her dermatologist gave her a sample for her lips and it really helps with your dry lips and I LOVE IT. I love Mac's lip glasses but hate how they dry out my lips and I slather on a light layer of my Kiehl's lip balm and throw on my lip glass and i'm ready to rock n roll. It comes in a tube or small jar....(bigger than carmex's jar) it may seem pricey compared to blistex and carmex but it lasts a LONGGGGGG time! I've had mine for months......no lie! You can find this product at Nordstrom.com and Kiehl's.com. Hope this helps

Use Burt's Bees. It's worked so well for me. I used to have really, really, dry, chapped lips but then a friend of mine told me about Burt's Bees chapstick so I bought some and put it on every morning, after lunch, and right before I go to bed. Now I have nice soft lips. Burt's Bees really does work! You can find it at Target, Walgreens, Boarders, and on their website.

Those both make my lips feel dryer too, so I switched. I actually use Vaseline at home.

It's very cheap for a big jar. I bought one to carry with me in a tube, but I lost it so I don't know the name to tell you.

Look for Vaseline as an ingredient.

Aveeno makes a really nice lip balm. I used it when my lips had an allergic reaction to the Burt's Bees stuff I used and it instantly felt better!
