Skin & Body - December 2006

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on my back, but I don't want anyone at work to find out or else it might lead to negative consequences. I know once summer comes, it would hard to hide the tattoo because of the thin materials, but I still want to get one. Any ideas? Similar experiences?
BTW: the place where I work is laid back but still corporate. Having a tattoo would be taboo.

I've had my piercing for at least a year, and it's still not fully healed, if I leave it out for too long, I have to use a little force to get the bar back in. Recently I got it snagged on the seatbelt and was wondering if that could lead to infection (it started to bleed.)

Just looking for some suggestions for something not too big....I am getting divorced and want something that symbolizes a rebirth. I have started dating a great guy about 2 months ago....no I'm not crazy enough to get a tattoo for him.It's just that he has helped me come out of this cocoon of sorts that I existed in with my ex...made me realize that I deserve to have someone stand beside me who appreciates me for who I am. Sure, I've seen the Jessica Simpson commercials and it looks good, but will it irritate my skin? My skin is sensitive, but not super sensitive. I know its at walmart, target n stuff, but is it really worth buying? I have tried Biore, and its worked, but i want something better... is there anything you would reccomend? I used to have minor blemishes, and they are gone now, but i would like to prevent it from coming again. N proactiv has many products out, so which one should i use? Help much appreciated. :)

i have this kind of problem....
sometimes when i don't apply a deodorant it have b.o. effect...
....bytheway the brand of deo that I use is "Nivea"....but sometimes even though i apply deo it gets sweaty!
please help me with this problem..

any effective home remedies? links if possible...

I have heard that wearing natural materials in large gauge lobes stops the issue of "ear cheese". I would like to know why this is. And does this apply to stone jewelry?
When I reach my goal, I would like to invest in something natural, but I would prefer a material that can be worn in the shower. Suggestions?

I have 5 tattoos and can't remember any of them being sore for this long. I just got number five 2 1/2 days ago on my upper back, and it is still real sore. It is not infected or anything just sore. the tat shop said that is normal for 2-4 more days but I wanted the publics opinion also. thanks

My skin is really weird. In the summer it is really oily, and since I have Gym right now, that also makes it bad. However, I wash my face under water often. This helps a lot. I cannot use soap because that dries my face out really bad. After I take a shower, even if I don't use soap, my face still dries out. Putting lotion on it helps, and I wash it off with water later. My face is no longer dry. It looks disgusting having a bunch of white, dry skin on my face! EW!

Anyway, as my question says, will putting the lotion on my face clog my pores, especially since I have an acne problem?

Is there a special, inexpensive product I can use instead of lotion if it does effect it? I've been watching it closely, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

Help?

Don't bother answering if you're going to be mean about it.

I just got two treatments for facial hair removal and after one day it grew back. It's driving me nuts!! Should I thread it or pluck it. I have thick, dark, stubborn hair that's driving me mad. Now that i have lasered it, it looks like I have shaved it. I'm going on a 2 week vacation and I don't want my hair to be noticable. Should I cover it with tons of foundation. I don't want to pluck it because I want to get it lasered again. I think I would probably need a life time session of laser hair removal. It sucks being middle eastern. AAAhhhhh. Help. Can anyone give me advice?

I'm 26 and started to get pimples and blackheads, never suffered with it before. ProActiv sucks, it just seemed to give me more pimples. I'm trying the St. Ives and Neutrogena blackhead eliminating foaming pads. Does anyone have any success stories? Or any advice?

I have no idea how it happened or if its normal, but the box dosen't have any info about it. I used it yesterday and it chapped my lips really bad and they were hurting, and now today, they are sort of puffy and somewhat swollen (they look nice lol). But is this normal? Or if this just gonna go away?
