I had thermage done about 8 months ago. It was expensive, and I have to say I was disappointed. I would never get it done again. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Thermage unfortunately has too many providers.. There are 97 in NY alone not every one is going to have much experience. If you go to the corporate website and find the most experienced black diamond provider you will get good results. But its not a face lift. Just refer to the before and afters. And of course all before and afters are the best results. No one publishes a before and after of their worst result. Try asking a surgeon to show you pictures of his botched face lifts. OK so now you need to refer to the before and afters to see the most that can be accomplished non surgically to see if that is something that you are looking for. PS Thermage was the first non surgical device, It came out over 15 years ago. So a lot of reviews are for the first generation device. It is still the one with the longest safety record. If you are looking for safety and subtle noticeable refreshed look.. great ! I stopped the beginning of a jowl over 10 years ago and have a straight lower jaw line still in my 60's, which I did not have when i was 50. To be clear no one is overpromising. People might want to believe that more is going to happen.. Just read Psychocybernetics. A plastic surgeon wrote a book on psychology because after doing serious work like nose jobs etc. Patients would tell him nothing has changed. So anyone who is expecting miracles needs a psychiatrist not a plastic surgeon.
