Acne seems so big nowadays. Almost everyone gets in during puberty and by the end of puberty 70 percent of sufferers lose their acne. while the other 30 percent have it for life. Why is that in today's society we have so many people suffering from acne but just 100 years ago people almost never sufferered from it. Is it the food? Please state why YOU think acne is such a big thing in todays world and wasn't 100 years ago.

A floridian here.It is hot.Im talking you wanna get naked,and jump in the nearest dirty lake hot.Thank God, he made us sane.What is it with people taking hot showers? Perhaps your skin might benifit from taking a hot shower? Or maybe it might burn your skin to the bone? Im a big believer in the warmth of water not the heat.What attracts people to the heat and make them take hot showers? Inform me my freinds and enemies as to why people, you, take hot showers?

I went about a month ago to the dermatologist to see what she could do about my acne. I have mild acne/rosacea on my forhead and cheeks. Its ugly bulgy and some look like craters. She gave me an anti-biodic called Nicomide which is to be taken twice a day. And she also gave me a gel topic cream called Finacea which I also put on twice a day on my face. I saw almost no improvement in this month that I have been doing this. I plan to go back to the dermatologist this week. I need help in what do I say to her. What if she gives me some other cream crap that doesn't do ****. Or should I ask about the laser treatments. I need help, Please.

I was wondering if anybody else gets those weird white hairs that seem to grow overnight (or in a matter of a couple of hours) and they grow very long very quickly. They are very thin and fragile and they seem to grow on the arms and forehead alot. Only one will grow at a time and it is completely different from any other hairs I have ever seen. Can anybody tell me any information about these hairs?

My daughter is only six years old. When she sweats she has always smelled like a wet dog, literally. As she gets older it seems to be getting worse. She is not overweight and is very petite. I have been putting baby lotion to help mask the smell while she plays. She is bathed daily, but I can't find anything to make her smell better while she plays. Any serious advice is greatly appreciated!!
