I was wondering if anybody else gets those weird white hairs that seem to grow overnight (or in a matter of a couple of hours) and they grow very long very quickly. They are very thin and fragile and they seem to grow on the arms and forehead alot. Only one will grow at a time and it is completely different from any other hairs I have ever seen. Can anybody tell me any information about these hairs?

I would just like to add that I am only 21 years old...so it is not from "old age"...haha...
hermitcrab_rescue did your mother ever tell you anything else about these hairs?...just curious...thanks!

I used to have that happen. I asked my mother since she is a nurse and it is just a weird hari follicle that goes haywire and produces alot of hair quickly... I do not have it happen anylonger so we think it is a hormonal thing.

oh my. i hate mine. the worst one i have "the forehead" i know has been there since i was 13. it's not until it falls in my eye do i remember it. i was told by my granny it was from my family the Irish bunch from Ireland. will be interesting to see what others write.
