Wash your face often, keep it as oil-free as you can... I break out in summer sometimes when it's really hot. I use clean & clear astringent and it works for me but some people say it doesn't work. Sometimes changing your foundation will help, take your makeup off before bed and it's weird but using sugar as a natural exfoliant makes your skin really soft.

When I went through something similar, I tried Pro-Activ but it didn't work for me like others have claimed it improved their skin. I did like the facial clay mask. When you put it on at night it did shrink the pimples until the appearance of it was not as noticeable. I would recommend trying Proactive or at least the mask because some people truly believe in it. But, you should probably go to a dermatologist as soon as possible. Alot of times acne can't be cured from topical products. Until then wash your face at least twice a day, use a toner and an oil free moisturize. I would also suggest drinking more water, excercising (which helps with stress which is the cause of my break outs). Also keep your hair washed and bedding clean. Sometimes lifestyle change helps considerably.

Keep your face clean and don't touch it. Don't squeeze them or they can pop inside and go deeper. Just carefully scratch the head open with a needle when it's ready and gently squeeze out what you can. Don't let the pus get on your face or it can infect other follicles. Don't touch your face during the day. Keep a clean pillow. Skin health is related to immune system health. Try to stay active. Walking every day will remind your body it's alive and has to act that way. If you are going to sweat, wash your face before and after working out. Sweat carries bacteria from the surface down into follicles. Don't scrub your face, just find a light antibacterial face wash. Unless it's not your face, then...I guess you're allowed to touch.

try products that are non-comodegenic. They won't clog your pores. Cetyphil is a good wash to use. They also make moisturizer. Also any silicacid products are good. Benzylperoxide products are a little more heavy duty but are wonderful. 10% benzylperoxide should do the trick. Products such as Proactiv or Clean and Clear work well too. Good luck!

Taking really good care of your skin and drinking TONS of water and taking vitamins is a MUST. Plus, using a foundation that is oil-free! A quick fix for me that usually works great is a face mask. I generally like ones with Green Tea in it; but look for clearing ones. Hope this helps!

Proactiv

Proactive solution works great...
nothing will make you clean & clear tomorrow
toothpaste (paste, not gel) can help them go down, apply directly to the bump before bed.. wash in morning
do not squeeze them... that can leave nasty scars!

well first off, don't scrub them vigorously, as this will only perpetuate the problem. use a natrual-based skin cleaner and a toner. go easy on the cleaning at first, as some cleansers will make the problem worse before it will make it better.

Try going to the dermatologist if its that bad. They'll prescribe something for your acne. Also, try drinking a lot of water, no greasy foods, plenty of exercise, etc.
