A floridian here.It is hot.Im talking you wanna get naked,and jump in the nearest dirty lake hot.Thank God, he made us sane.What is it with people taking hot showers? Perhaps your skin might benifit from taking a hot shower? Or maybe it might burn your skin to the bone? Im a big believer in the warmth of water not the heat.What attracts people to the heat and make them take hot showers? Inform me my freinds and enemies as to why people, you, take hot showers?

WELL COLD WATER WONT OPEN YOUR PORES,HAVENT YOU EVER NOTICED WHEN YOU SWEAT AND WIPE YOUR ARM IF YOUR DIRTY IT CAKES, YUCK"THE HOT SWEAT MAKES THE DIRT COME TO THE SURFACE KINDA COMIN SINCE ".

Good question. I am in the San Antonio heat. I hate the heat of summer when it gets extreme but love steamy hot showers...never thought about it. I think hot water is soothing for muscles after a busy day and helps you to breathe. Those are a couple of benefits I can think of.

When you take a cold shower, your body produces energy to warm you again. When you take a hot shower, there is no need to release energy to increase your body temperature. Therefore, you are cool when you get out of the shower. Also, hot water gets you cleaner than cold water.

because cold shower make me shiver, and are even worse when i get out. Taking a hot shower and stepping out into a cool room is more of a relief...Plus you ever tried washing your face with your teeth chattering away...Soap is nasty :)
