I put the tanner on in the morning around 8:00 and am just realizing many hours later how badly it went on. Is there anything that will work this later afterward?

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!! Get a good salt or sugar scrub and go to town. It may not get all of it off, but because it's essentially a dye, by removing skin cells you'll be removing some of the pigment. Also, if you go to Sephora.com, St. Tropez and ModelCo make a Self Tan remover, but in the mean time, exfoliating should at least help even it up.

Ahhh that happened to me too. I bought a self tanner and kept using it then I noticed how it badly went on my legs, and especially my feet, so I really wanted to get rid of it. I'd rather be white than have that kind of tan.

The best thing to do is to expose your skin (wherever there's self-tanner lotion) to water. Get into a hot tub, bath, shower where there's warm water. Use a towel to scrub the skin (but don't scrub too hard, it might leave your skin really red). It worked for me.

You can't remove it - it dyes the skin, so you have to wait for it to fade on its own, usually only two days. If you're in a hurry, you can by some skin lightening cream at your local drug store. It slightly bleaches the skin and evens out blotchyness. Also, exfoliating the "tanned" area will speed up the fading process too. Good Luck!

Sorry, I think it has to wear off. Wear pants (if it is on your legs) or you could try scrubbing (quite a few times) with a towel and cleanser if it is on your face but I don't think this will make a huge difference.

It has to wear away. The only thing I can think of and it's not a good idea, but you may need to get a regular suntan from the sun.

Take a shower, but it's not going to come off for a couple of days since you waited so long...

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE SPRAY TAN IN A BOTTLE VS. THE LOTION. AS FOR THE REACTION OF YOUR BAD TAN, JUST LET IT FADE, IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS, OR SCRUB YOUR SKIN WITH ONE OF THOSE LOOFAH SPONGES WHEN IN THE SHOWER

As far as I know there isn't any way to get it off. Sorry!
