Hair - March 2007

Ok, am new to using gel. I bought some Byylcreem ultragel to do my hair. The problem is my hair looks kinds wet when i apply it. Heres what i do:

After washing my hair i apply the gel to the tips all over when the hair is still semi wet. When the gel is applied thats it i leave it, i dont bother with blow drying the hair. So is this what is making my hair wet?

ive been dying my hair darker than usual and want to get it back to its natural, light brown color. i was told to do a bleach rinse then dye it. what bleach rinse should i use? ive heard there is a powder but really dont know.

and Have since 99, when my hair came back after chemo ..
I've had baby fine hair all my life and now it's worse ..I do use wig's very rarely though ..just want HONEST opions of whta to do with this hair ..any suggestions or comments on what to do ? DO NOT bore me with snide remarks, I'm cancer free 9 years now

Can you get braids if u have a relaxer in your hair? If so do you have to have a retouch before you get them? And lastly, which type of synthetic hair is best to buy so you dont get split ends?

I always use a heat defence spray before i do my hair but i was wondering if its better to put hairspray/serum/etc before i heat my hair? I also don't want to "gunk up" my ghds. Is there a way i should clean them? Please help!

My 13 year old daughter colored her long dirty blonde hair into a deep redish brown. It looks so dull on her. Without having to go spend $100's at a salon to correct this, is there any way to "lighten" the color back or at least go to a light brown? Help!!!!

lol this may seem funny. But, I'm a very girly girl and I'm doing tennis at high school and I love trying cute updo's or even down for working out. I have very pretty colored hair, but i think i need it styled(maybe a little cut). it is almost as long as my elbow, very light brown w/ natural blonde highlights. I part it on the side(no bangs). ppl have said that i need side wept bangs, but im not sure. I also need help w/ makeup. I had really bad acne but it is finally clearing up. I know afros are outdated, but it's a convenient hairstyle when I'm depressed. If I'm in a good mood, I can put gel in it & plop it in a ponytail.
