Definitely get your hair layered and maybe cut up to the shoulder blades. This will give your hair body and texture.
Physicians Formula or Neutrogena makeup is best for acne-prone skin.
I highly recommend Physicians Formula mineral makeup.
I had really bad acne that left scars, and the mineral makeup (especially the loose powder) fills in the scars very nicely and, I don't know, i just love it.
But neutrogena can work just as well too. Don't be afraid to experiment.

Your hair sounds beautiful and if you really want to cut it, long layers would be nice. Don't go to bangs if you haven't had them for a long time, sometimes that is a shock.

For the frizzy try any of patene pro-v's Smooth & Shine products. My hair was fried by a prem sometime ago and was all frizzy. Now after using patene's products my hair is like silk!

As for make up try Bare Essentals, you should be able to sleep in the makeup and not even break out. I've used it before and have had no problem and my skin is very sensative.

I really think side-swept bangs would look good. It matches most people's faces--just don't overdo it. You know, like cut YOUR ENTIRE HEAD OF HAIR into bangs like I've seen some people. Get it cut kind of choppy, around chin-length. Layers always work, and for the frizz, try that Herbal Essences stuff in the thin orange bottle....has some odd name involving frizz. Their conditioners and shampoos work AWESOME by hair type--like, don't get the shampoo & conditioner for curly hair if you have wavy hair, and if you don't really have a hair type, the anti-frizz shamp. & condit. works great ((in orange bottles)) What makeup you use depends on your skin tone and everything, but eyeliner and mascara, maybe a bit of greyish eyeshadow, works great for almost everyone. A bit of clear lipgloss and some face powder might work, too. Get hypoallergenic makeup.
This would work a lot better with a picture of you ((not to be creepy :), but to see your skin tone and eye color and everything)).

Layers will make your hair look thicker but itll be more managable. The only thing Ive found to help with frizz is to use a straightener, anykind will work but I use the wet to straight one. You should also use biosilk hair shine spray, itll make you hair really shiny(but just dont use too much.)
Also about the makeup, bare minerals would work well with out making you break out, even though its a little expensive.

Hey, check out some magazines, you can find different styles and then put them together to make your own.
try alittle lip gloss, mascara, eye liner, and just a very light powder for a smooth look without alot of makeup.

Well, maybe by some proactive and then it cleans your face so you can wear makeup. Dont let people tell you how to wear your hair., u do what you want, use DHC its a makeup that really works.

Start from fresh and get it all cut off - don't go bald, but just get one of those sexy short cuts, maybe with a bit of an angular bang thing going on. Just go with a nice big change of image.

If you've seen the VMA's I think the hair cut jessica simpson's wore there was great and I think you can pull it off as long as you keep it controlled. And as for makeup use natural blends!!!

i have read that bare minerals makeup is great for skin and shouldnt break you out. i havent used it myself just be told. your hair sounds really pretty. you could try the bangs and if you dont like them let it grow back out. make sure you keep your hair neatly trimmed...long is pretty unless you raggedy ends.

okay, this is what i do:
1) use dangerously straight shampoo/conditioner
(herbal essence)
2) dangerously straight mousse
3) blowdry on COOL
4) straighten my hair
5) end with the "none of your frizziness" leave-in conditioning cream. (herbal essance) it's in the tall orange bottle
