Any sugestions for reducing the frizzy and wire-like texture of grey hair, especially with having naturally curly hair? (its premature grey... 20% white at early 20's)

Try getting your hair cut really short and dye and highlight it. You can dye it any colour you want. You should find that you have more body and less frizz. The fun part is picking a colour you like.If you still have fizz try a gel or foam to settled down the fizz. There are products on the market to deal with fizz ask someone at a drugmart cosmetic counter.Good Luck!! P.S. you can't change the texture it is what it is!!!

I've tried tons of products and couldn't find anything for that problem. I'm way too lazy to colour mine and actually kinda like the grey colour (about 30% big streaks in 40s).

From my experience, I'd say let it grow longer if you can bear it as the weight tamed mine a lot. Was horribly frizzy when short. Damp days were a nightmare!

Now having let it grow to almost waist length, it falls into big ringlets and is much more manageable. I can even straighten completely without it misbehaving *too* badly (kinda gently bounces back rather than frizzing) and if it gets wet I can stick it in a pony tail, loose bunches or get a bit creative. Looks pretty dramatic due to the streakiness.

Are you wanting to just tame it down with product or looking to color it? If you just want to reduce the frizz, try a shine serum when damp , but do not apply it to the crown this will give you an oily look , also apply interrupted by Brocata , this will tame the frizz down , there are other lines that carry things for this but I love this line , you have to buy it in a salon and it is very reasonably priced , also let a hairstylist look at your hair and they would be happy to show you some good product , even better talk to a stylist with natural curly hair .Hope this helped.

You get a reconditioner and leave it in for 20 min or use heat and leave in for 30. It will help a lot. Grey hair is wirey because the pigment is gone. It can be managed, just look for a proper conditioner.

I would color it, I myself am 30 yrs old have curly hair and color mine overy six weeks or so. I am about 10% gray. To make your hair less frizzy cut down on shampooing and use only a baby shampoo which is much gentler and does not contain sodium laurel sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate which strips hair of natural oils that curly hair needs.
