i'd start with the starter kit. keep in mind they have different formulas. choose the best one for your type. the types are normal hair with beginning stages of thinning, chemically treated hair with beginning stages of thinning, normal hair with noticable thinning, chemically treated hair with noticable thinning. they make great hair vitamins too. another formula is nioxin smoothing series, which is really good stuff if you have medium to coarse hair

I went through alot of stress last semester and my hair started to fall out. I went to the salon and they said use nioxin. It is awesome, go to the officialy site and find out what kit you need. I needed kit one. I saw a difference in a month. You have to hold off on the coloring of your hair, becuase it lightens it. It doesnt smell pretty though, it smells like bengay. But the kit that you buy all depends on your condition.
But yes it works...just have patience.

Its hard to say b/c I cannot examine your hair and scalp. But its better to buy the whole system that has products to support it than just buying one produt. Go to a salon and ask them to help reccomend one for you. BUT DON'T BUY IT.

You will be able to find a kit for the fraction of the cost if you go to ebay. Better yet if you hav a friend with a cosmetology liscense you can go to a Davidsons, if you have one in your area) and buy one for about half the price.

Davidsons only sells to professional hairstylist so thats why I said to bring someone who has one.
