I've never used the chi but I have a sedu and its great I have the professional one. Its very light weight and compact smaller in comparision to a chi. I got it b/c i have the flat iron which is also great. It dries the hair fast and leaves the hair very soft. I'm sure the chi is good too but the Sedu works great for me.

But if I were you I would just go and order both and see what you like best. Send back the one that didn't work for you. Folica as GREAT customer service I have ordered from them before they're very professional and helpful. Their delivery is fast.
