SWEETHEART, NO!!! Dont use the store-bought kind! If you're EVER going to use bleach, go get it professionally done. Sure it isnt $6 at your neartest CVS or Walmart but hell, I'd rather pay $70 for a good bleaching to turn out WELL than have yellowish, orange, brassy color. So fake AND ugly

If you want to do it yourself go ahead but it sounds like something a professional would have to do.

Simply b/c bleach is a VERY time sensitive chemical. If you leave it on too long your hair will be left very dry and start breaking. Also ifyou do not mix it with the correct developer (if you use 40 volume) your scalp will be irritated.

Sallys sells bleach but some won't sell it too non-professionals.

Anyways I think you should get a friend to help you out someone who has basic skills in hair. Mix the bleach (neutral) w/ 10 or 20 volume developer ( 10 b/c you are untrained) and WATCH CLOSELY. Bring it up to the level desired. Then you would wash it out. The key with the color is that you MUST use semi-permanent color. B/c your hair is bleached the semi-permanent will act like permanent color and hold.

Go to sallys and ask. They will be able to help you. But like I said if since you are untrained it would be best to just suck it up and shell out the money to get it fixed. It will save you alot of money and heart ache in the long run vs. doing it yourself.

Just buy get a bleaching kit loreal is good. You mix a powder with liquid to make a paste.
Make sure you used lots of conditioner.
I would wait at least a day to add the brown onto it.
Hope this helps

reckoning on how darkish your hair is, and how easy you're extremely attempting to pass, think approximately to do this in tiers. Your hair would be stripped of the colour and new coloration utilized. undergo in concepts, the colour you % isn't the colour you eventually finally end up with because of the underlying coloration that already exists on your hair. good success!
