I had my hair done today and my hairdresser put way too much red in it and it's so bright! I know red fades quickly, but i really would like to make it a bit more subtle by tomorrow when i go to work!! Any suggestions of home-remedies that i could try out tonight please?? Thanks so much! P.S. I've tried the anti-dandruff shampoo method but it didn't really do much to tone it down.

My daughter is 4.5 yrs old. Her long hair goes almost to her bum. I was looking at it today as she played in the BK play area thinking it might be time to cut it straight across mid back (aka bra line). I don't really care for hair that a kid can sit on, habitat for lice, etc. it's getting close but might take till summer to get there. Should I wait til summer to cut it or just cut it now? Why the dilima over hair length? My oldest daughter didn't get long hair till she was in the 5th grade. She cut her own hair at 3 yrs old so bad it had to be evened out at 1 inch all over her head! She looked like a boy for 3 yrs after! So this daughter we let her hair grow abnormally long for us. However, we've gotten so use to it growing that now it seems a shame to cut it. But I've never been one to let it grow past the "bra line". She'll be going into kindergarten next fall if this helps any. I know for school she must wear it up or cut it shorter (bra line) for their policy there. Cut or not?

I was thinking of buying hair roll curlers like this one: http://ec2.images-amazon.com/images/P/B000646TZK.01-A3LDAX1Z8QDFC._SCTZZZZZZZ_.jpg

But when I see people use them on T.V., when they take it out, it doesn't look curley but more wavy-ish. Is this because of the size of the rollers or do hair roll curlers just make it wavy.

Any self-experience you've had, please tell. Or any suggestions.

I have very curly, shoulder length hair. I can't find a product that will leave my curls soft and frizz free. I live in a high humidity area. Any suggestions?

Ok, My boyfriend wants a new hairstyle. He's got his eyes on something similar to

http://www.planetdan.net/pics/misc/tomisnotmyfriend.jpg

I do like the style, but Sam (boyfriend) is Very pale and blond. I don't think it will have the full effect and he isn't totally keen on the idea of putting a colour on it.

Are there and Hair Experts out there?!

Im asking this question for a friend....

Shes got quite pale skin andhas currently got blonde hair, she is thinking of dying it to a brunette sort of colour. What colour would look best suited with the skin colour, whats the best way for her to go about dying it (she would prefer to use a home dying kit rather than salon dying), and any nice styles to have with this colour would be very appreciated, also any links you have or anything like that. She has quite thin hair so if there are any proffesional hair people on here that could help that would be great.

Thanks x

OK in twenty years I have never really done anything to my hair. I want something different for a change. My hair is dark redish brown. Some days more red than brown and visa- versa. I keep my hair layered. With the longest layer being shoulder length. I kinda want it a bit shorted. Something easy to style. Oh yeah and my hair is really thick. I think I want to put streaks in it. What color do you suggest? If you could point me to a website had a cute hair style.

Also I would like to know how to style my hair. The top always seems flat while the bottom is out. I like my hair to be straight. How can I do that without it looking fried. But if I wanna wear my hair wet. How can I keep that wet look all day.

I know this is a lot of information to think about. Thanks in advance.
