OK in twenty years I have never really done anything to my hair. I want something different for a change. My hair is dark redish brown. Some days more red than brown and visa- versa. I keep my hair layered. With the longest layer being shoulder length. I kinda want it a bit shorted. Something easy to style. Oh yeah and my hair is really thick. I think I want to put streaks in it. What color do you suggest? If you could point me to a website had a cute hair style.

Also I would like to know how to style my hair. The top always seems flat while the bottom is out. I like my hair to be straight. How can I do that without it looking fried. But if I wanna wear my hair wet. How can I keep that wet look all day.

I know this is a lot of information to think about. Thanks in advance.

I really like the short style that flips out at the back and is sort of spiky but not like punk spiked.

I also have reddish brown hair and I really like having highlights put in it. Be careful though, might want to see a professional, because the red in our hair can sometimes make highlights turn more of an orangish color.

To straighten my hair without the poof I blow dry it until it's almost dry without using a brush or anything (Pay close attention to the roots) Then I use a Conair wet to dry straightening iron (20-30 dollars at walmart and it lasts a long time) Then I just divide my hair in small sections starting with the underneath. The whole process takes me about 15 minutes whereas blow drying it straight takes about 20 and then I have poof. Also because you use the hot iron to dry and straighten your hair the style lasts longer. To avoid a fried look be sure to use a really good conditioner, I use Pantene moisture rich shampoo and conditioner and it works great for my hair. But you may have to try a few to find the right one for your hair.
To have a wet look all day, apply gel to your hair while it's really wet. Squeeze out the excess water but don't towel dry, then add the gel. Then just let it dry by itself (it might take a little longer than normal)

I pretty much have the same hair as you (minus the color difference). I don't suggest cutting it short. It does NOT make it easier, if anything its more tough. My suggestion is to put low-lights in it because it sounds to be a little light to begin with. Second, a cute way of styling it is get a 2" curling iron, flip (curl)out all the bottom layers and curl-in just the top layer. Once you're done with that, use Paul Mitchell's hair wax just on the ends to hold it. It comes out really cute.

I would put dark blonde or a light brown highlights in it just to give it a new look plus if you want your straight without looking fried then you need to get a good striaghtner like paul mitchell or chi. and if you want to keep the wet look in your hair then after you get out the shower spray hairspray in it even though it will eventually dry it will still have that wet look to it!!

you would possibly want to mix your hair color now with a color it truly is one color lighter than your hair color. at the same time with: mix gentle ash brown with a color one color lighter, then positioned a color or 2 darker below. you would possibly want to get extra uneven layers or perhaps get razor decrease layers--for further edgyness. you would possibly want to bypass with bangs that would want to be swept to the section or perhaps strengthen them out to grow to be layers. ****the biggest ingredient, although is that is sweet to be tender consisting of your coiffure, so don't be afraid to take extra time to imagine this one over...or in case you want something one individual says and something yet another says, you would possibly want to fulfill them contained in the middle or try the single which seems a lot less ambitious to confirm if it fairly works and progressively bypass up. i imagine you'd be surprised at how impressive you'll seem, once you're taking time to devise it out! sturdy luck!!! Oh--and do not ever sense compelled...it is your hair and no you would possibly want to inform you otherwise.
