Ghd are allright but i'd say you should invest in a Sedu iron..The best of the best and well worth the money cus it doesnt come cheap..ive had all kinds of straighteners and they ussually mess up..but im satisfied with my Sedu Iron,,simply the best of the best..good luck,,you can look at revies of the ghd and other flat irons and also purchase them @ folica.com

I have had 3 pairs of GHD - the first pair broke but only because my sister dropped them on the floor - the second pair were the wider ones for my long hair and now I have the new mk 4 edition because I now have short hair! I love GHD and have never had a problem with them before. I think when they were first released a few years ago there was a few issues with them blowing up but I haven't heard anything negative since then. Over the years I have tried many brands of straighteners and have very annoying hair that desperately needs a good straighten and GHD is the only brand that does the job for me! Also they come with a guarantee so if you did get a dud pair you would be covered for the first year.

I love my GHDs, I've been using them for 5 years. I've heard of some people's GHDs just breaking, more more often than not it's due to rough handling, eg. letting them hang so the connections work loose. But GHD have been really helpful with my friends and I whenever there's been a problem and have always returned a new pair quickly, even without a receipt. Mind have never broken by themselves, just once when I dropped them (doh) and once when my DAD STOOD ON THEM. But GHD replaced them straight away. They make my hair go really straight and even my friend with an afro straightens her hair with them. I haven't found a better make of straightner. The best way to straighten is to clip it up and work down layer by layer.
I definitely recommend them.

I've had ghd's for 4 years. The original model did break after so long and they were even on watchdog about it. They've improved them since then and the pair i have now are about 2 years old (touch wood) there still fine. I have thick and curly hair and they are the only straightners i've used which keep my hair straight.
well worth the money!!

particular calling the producer will type you out. I had between the 1st GHD's till now they realised they mandatory a swivel ingredient for the cable. Mine of course at last snapped after 3 yrs. My dad opened it as he's great with that sorta ingredient yet even he could no longer fix it.. so i attempted my success with sending them back even nonetheless I by no potential registered my set the two. GHD ought to no longer fix it themselves or maybe nonetheless my dad had opened it up and had a glance.. they despatched me out a sparkling GHD with swivel cable!!!! So supply em a call.. you'll be able to get fortunate like I did.. or it ought to easily be their coverage!! :o) yet i can not fault their customer help!!

I bought the new Ghd styler and I am so disappointed with it. It cost me a lot of money and doesn't even get my hair straight - the bits that do go straight are not straight any more 5 minutes later. I'm actually really annoyed - I'm waiting for customer services to e-mail me back to see if they will do anything about it. Bet they don't!

ghd's are the best, Ive just got some new ones after my other ghd's broke due to me tripping over them. i had, had them for 4 yrs. Your hair will stay straight depending on the air around you. In my country the air is damp so it does curl again eventually but when i go to my bfriends country where the air is dry it stays straight for days.
