i really want side bangs like the ones that go all the way across my forehead, like jennifer love hewits. but everytime i go to the hair salon the person never does it right. what am i supposed to do so they will get it right?

I have had side bangs for years now and I will tell you exactly how to get them. It might not sound right but it's true.
I get my bangs cut straight across with no angle. Everytime hairdressers cut in an angle they mess it up. Anyway, they have to be long, like about down to your mouth or even chin. Blow-dry them straight down like you would with normal bangs and then put them to the side. I part my hair in the middle and part my bangs on the side. I usually tuck them behind my ear and place a bobby pin to hold in place.
I don't know why hairdressers don't know this...maybe b/c it's not a very common hairstyle? Good luck!

take a picture of the style wit you wen u go to the salon..

take in a picture of EXACTLY what you want-then they should get it right..if not go someplace till its how you want it.

try another stylist. Get them to show you how to style it also.
