My hair is curly, with loose curls, but it dosen't always stay in nice curls and it usually limps down. I want to do curls in my hair but how do I do it? Should I straighen my hair first and then curl it? Or is their a way I can curl it when my hair is in it's natural state? I've tried hair curling products that you use after you take a shower and etc. but I don;t want to know about any products. I just need to know how I can curl my hair if it already has curls.

okay well I previously asked how to wash it , but I forgot to ask how to treat it afterwards. Soo. do I blow dry it or air dry ?? And right after the shower when my hair is wet do I COMB it or brush ??

i have naturally straight hair and i'd like to curl my hair or scrunch it.

I always wear my hair straight back like a nerd w/ gel packed on top. My aunt says I should let it down ,but I don't like it when its down because it feels heavy. My mom says get a hair layer that takes off some hair probaply makes it longer. Idon't Know HELP!!!!!

I tried things like Sunslilk, and other product like it, but they didn't help much. Another thing about it is that it won't hold anything! It won't even scrunch like all my friends do... The only thing I can really do to it in the mornings is straighten it, a look that I'm sort of getting tired of. Oh, on more thing, I only have an hour to get ready in the mornings. thanks

I have extremely curly multi ethnic hair. My mom is Hispanic and my dad is black & white. I just want tips on styling my type of hair both while its curly and straightening it. I just got a Chi flat iron today. What are the best ways to straighten it and keeping it straight? I live in Houston where its humid pretty much year round. My hair is extremely curly! I have a flat iron and it is my best friend. I have no problem keeping it straight when it's not humid, but when it's humid or when there's any moisture in the air, it goes back curly or gets wavy. Does anyone know how to keep curly hair straight, even when it's humid?
