Usually hair gets flatter during the day! Put some gel in it first and then blow dry it. Then hairspray!!!

I use Sunsilk 24/7 hair creme in the pink bottle, it smoothes my hair down(flyaways included) and in the winter you don't have static! I suggest using it in dry hair, or semi dry hair, but dont use whole lot, or else your hair gets all greasy looking.
