I usually get mine trimmed every six weeks and it seems to work well.

Whenever they need it really. They say every 6-8 weeks but if you're trying to grow it out that can be too much. Your hair will grow whether you trim it or not, but it's best to get the split ends cut off since they will split more and eventually break off halfway up the strand if you don't, and your ends will get scraggly and look bad. If your ends are ok, you don't need a trim. If they are starting to split or get really damaged, it's time for a trim. How long that takes all depends on your hair type and what you do to it.

If you are growing your hair, you should have the ends trimmed every 6 weeks to 2 months. If you relax your hair, maybe a little more often...every 4 to 6 weeks.

If you are trying to grow it out only trim your hair once every three months to get some length off of it and it will keep it in good condition. If not them trim it every 6 to 8 wks.

I've been told by many hair dressers that hair needs trimmed every 4 weeks at least.

Depends on the texture and strength of your hair. If the ends split easily, probably every month. If your hair is thick and strong and rarely has split ends, up to two or three months. The majority of hair types require every six weeks to maintain healthly well kept appearance.

I trim mine every six weeks.. But if you blow dry and use a curling iron, you might have to trim every 4 - 6 weeks.

I recommend trimming the ends every six to eight weeks because the tendrils tend to split when they get too long. Also,I recommend regular conditioning of the hair to keep it 'healthy.'

Whenever they need it. If you notice many split-ends after a month, then get a trim; if not, wait a week or so more.
