I tried things like Sunslilk, and other product like it, but they didn't help much. Another thing about it is that it won't hold anything! It won't even scrunch like all my friends do... The only thing I can really do to it in the mornings is straighten it, a look that I'm sort of getting tired of. Oh, on more thing, I only have an hour to get ready in the mornings. thanks

Don't try to hard to fight what you've been given. As you hate your hair, there's a woman out there with thick curly horse hair who is jealous of you. But, it's natural to see the grass as greener. . .

You have a bunch of options. Buy a 'root booster' or a spray on volumizing gel (I use a Garnier Fructis one in a small round bottle). Spray it on at the roots and then blow dry your hair until it's a little more than damp. Then, flip your head over and almost finish drying it. Flip back over and use a large flat brush or round ceramic brush to pull sections of the hair away from the scalp (Lift straight up) and give a blast of heat at the roots. Hold the hair straight up until it cools and then allow to return.

Also, go to a GOOD stylist who knows baby fine hair. Tell them the issues that you have and ask them to give you a cut to remedy this and that works with what you have naturally. Then, ask them for tips on how to style it and dry it to make it look fuller.

Be careful about volumizing shampoos as well. Some of them damage the hair to give it 'more body'. Split ends and split hair looks fuller, but it also looks more unhealthy. Other coat the hair with something - this can weigh fine hair down.

Good luck to you! : )

To add volume, use a styling gel on wet hair and distribute it evenly through the hair.
Then, while bending over with your head down, blow-dry the hair. Be sure to switch to a
diffuser when your hair starts getting dry to avoid over-drying. Once dried, stand upright
and style your hair as desired.
