ever since I was little,i parted my hair to the side. now that i'm older, i don't like to do it, but there is a "part" in my hair that i cant get rid of. when i part my hair, there is this scalpy part (if you know what i mean) shown very clearly where my hair is parted. how can i get rid of it?if i gel my hair up, one side is ok while the other side shows the scalpy part where i parted my hair. (sorry if this is complicated!)

My son has been growing his hair for about a year is getting ready to donate it to Locks of Love and wants something cool. He wants a "skater" hair cut, not too short in the back or sides and longer on top. I can't find anything but really short boys haircuts online...HELP!!
Thanks in advance.

Long hair means past eye line. Personally I think its okay its there hair not anyone elses, but people keep going through saying to get a hair cut even though they don't. The majority of people that say this are parents worried about there childrens hair. So why should they care? Its not there hair!

i have brown hair, poofs up around the temples and its long,

i use a ponytail a lot so it has some waves where its gathered together

cut in layers and reaches to the middle of my back.

i hate to use products on it aside from some leave in conditioner,

i'm NOT buying some 30 dollar product just to discover that, WOW, it doesn't work!!!!!!

so, anything i can do to make it less puffy? would cutting it short help? should i keep it out of ponytails for a while and see if it straightens out?

thanx 4 help....

you know when you want your hair to be krinkled in the morning, so you braid it after a shower when you hair is still damp. do you put coconut oil directly on the braids, or in the morning after you take the braids out ? sorry this is really complicated, but i will chose the best answer instead of having other people vote, so it'll be quick. HELP PLEASE ! by the way, sorry this question is complicated.

I did her wedding cakes at half price.Worked the wedding for free. Her mom gives me her discount at store she manages.mom has cancer,so hairdresser comes here. She's very sweet,I want to be fair with the tip.I purchased all the products needed, she will do the hair.I want it to be worth her time .I don't want to give too little and I don't want to go overboard either. We live paycheck to paycheck.

My daughter has just had her waist length hair cut to just below her jawline, however, just as the hairdresser was finishing off, he took a few inch wide pieces of hair and made about 3 half cuts through the hair from top to bottom.
WHY??

My daughter’s hair is very knotted up and is dry and bushy. She is biracial her father is African American and I am Caucasian.
I cannot manage her hair. I only wash it 2 times a week because it is so dry. I cannot run a comb through it. The only time her hair looks decent is when a lady we know corn rolls her hair. I don't want her to have that style forever. I have heard different stories on what will happen if I put a perm/relaxed in her hair. I heard it will break her hair off, and I will have to continue doing touch-ups to her new growth (which can be expensive.)
I was told if I do this I will really regret it. I was also told that it is not that bad and it will make it so much easier to manage. I even talked to different hairstyles.
I am open for some advice. THANKS

past the middle of my back when straightened, curly and big when I wash and go or use a diffuser to dry it...my question is...HOW DO I CARE FOR IT? How do I style it the way I want?
The way my avaeter's hair or whatever this doll to th left is called ... my hai is exactly like this! only it's big and really thick in the middle...please help! What products are good for me, what styling tips do you have, WHAT can I do?? What things will help with my natural look, and what styles can I do, and what will prevent it from getting soo big? It's like Kelis' hair times 2 , and after a day or two it's a wrap! It's a big, curly afro. Trust me it doesn't look cute. PS I was told Dominicans would be good with my hair type. Professional stylists always trying to throw a perm in my head, I could do that myself! No one knows what to do with this. A wet set is a straight wrap the next day, a damp ponytail is a curly puff in 6 hrs. What do I do??????

Do you think this guy is using just regular styling gel? Also would I need any particular type of comb?
