past the middle of my back when straightened, curly and big when I wash and go or use a diffuser to dry it...my question is...HOW DO I CARE FOR IT? How do I style it the way I want?
The way my avaeter's hair or whatever this doll to th left is called ... my hai is exactly like this! only it's big and really thick in the middle...please help! What products are good for me, what styling tips do you have, WHAT can I do?? What things will help with my natural look, and what styles can I do, and what will prevent it from getting soo big? It's like Kelis' hair times 2 , and after a day or two it's a wrap! It's a big, curly afro. Trust me it doesn't look cute. PS I was told Dominicans would be good with my hair type. Professional stylists always trying to throw a perm in my head, I could do that myself! No one knows what to do with this. A wet set is a straight wrap the next day, a damp ponytail is a curly puff in 6 hrs. What do I do??????

omg! your hair is exactly like mine...sweet :) i love it. mine's really long and thick, like crazy bushy if i just wash and dry and brush it. So I don't do that. First get it cut w/ lots of layers in it. My longest layer is past midback, but the shortest is pretty short. LOTS of layers, b/c it keeps the length but reduces unneccesary volume. Then I got it minimally highlighted, w/ a rich carmel color. Really skinny highlights, random, and spaced far apart, so it looks natural. And then I wash it w/ John Frieda Curl Shampoo and conditioner. Then put John Frieda Hair serum in it. Towel dry quickly after shower, and then right away put John Frieda Curl Mousse in it. Do it in 4 sections, first a circle of mousse in the front left, then back left, then front right, then back right. Shake it out a lil, and leave it alone to air dry!! If u must dry, then use a diffuser, but basically after i leave it to dry, I don't touch it, and it turns into soft luscious curls, from my original mass of dry, unruly, frizzy waves. :) Try it. All the John Frieda products I mentioned are in any drug store, or walmart, meijer, etc... for less than $5 a piece. pretty sweet stuff!

oh my gosh!... when i started reading this, even before i got to the end i'm like i know the answers to her problems!!! use moose, and use alot of it..you can get some at your local drug store, or wherever a haircare place is. the moose that i use right now is called Got2Be so sexy ... weird name but yeah thats what its called i asked the salesperson which was the best and they said that one was.. well really i think ANY moose can do its just moose. but yeah you can do all the styles that you did before except use alottt of moose it usually works, its actually specifically for people with curly hair, or even you can ask the person there which is best for your hair there are some products that say specifically for curly hair and they enhance the curliness, its pretty sweet, anyways hope i helped!
