I just got my hair platted into long braids, will taking a shower make it messy?

If I take a shower will the braids get messy? They are long braids, like what Moesha used to have.

Steam could make any short strands frizz a bit. You may want to wear a shower cap and remove it after you leave the bathroom.

If your hair gets wet, little pieces will start sticking up. Go to the drugstore and invest a dollar in a plastic shower cap. It will look silly, but worth it to keep your braids nice.

pull your hair up so it doesn't get wet.
