Hair - December 2006

Hi I am 15 years old and very depressed because I have no self confidence some times I look in the mirror and think I am so ugly, however sometimes I look in the mirror and think I am o.k. My mum says I am beautiful but I don't believe her because that is what all mums say. It is really getting me down because sometimes I don't want to go to school because I don't feel as good as the other girls and sometimes I cry (I know that is stupid but I can't help it). I have now decided the right hairstyle and colouring will fix my problems. So I was wondering whether if I was to send you a picyure of myself you could give me some makeup advice and hairstyle and colour advice to suit me. I am going to the hairdressers on saturday. I really want to color my hair, but it's a pretty specific color that I want. I would like to just do it at home, but I'm worried that it won't turn out, however I don't necessarily want to pay the high prices of a salon. So, basically I just want all the pros and cons of both ways. Thanks!

well i have relly pretty blonde hair and natural brown higlights but i have side bangs that are relly light but thear is a very dark pice off hair that does not fit in and i cant cut it or die it "im 2 young" and i cont us ethat spray stuff that makes your hair lighter because it is 2 cold out what should i do

I typically dye my hair black, but I'm looking to dye it a different color. Anyway, most of my hair has faded back to the normal brown (it doesn't hold color very long as I had bleached it for a different color), but it's still pretty dark. Do you think it'd be safe to redye it a different color or will the black totally botch it up?

My natural color is brown but I've been dying it blonde for years. The last time I bottle blonded myself I made the mistake of buying an ash blonde. Well, my hair had an orange tint. I can't afford to go to a salon and we don't have any beauty supply stores. What's a great brand of hair color and what's a nice color of blonde for me? Keep in mind, I still have this slightly orange tinted crap still in, although it's almost gone. Thanx!

Hi! I have had a very similar hairstyle since about 3rd grade when my mother cut all my hair off and I thought I looked like a boy and cried for a week

Anyhow, I'm in desperate need of a trim and plan on going sometime this week...my question is! Should I just get my regular trim or should I try bangs? I haven't had bangs since about grade six when I finally grew them out.

I read there that angled bangs are a great way to give a face that's very round some new angles.

Note: That is an older picture. I have since added nice copper highlights through my hair and a few long layers :)
