im growing my hair a little longer at the back and on top, like ian watkins from lostprophets but a little shorter, but my hair is really thick and the sides fluff up and look silly. what do i do?!

get layers put into your hair, just go to a hairdresser and say "keep the length but throw in some layers to thin it out a bit. dont get too many layers though, itll look dumb.
also, you can use a straightener. i straighten my hair and it doesnt puff out.

Are you growing a mullet? Are you?? Because I'd strongly advise against any mullet-tendencies... unless you're going for it as a serious fashion statement. Then, I am afraid that I can't help you. But, assuming that you are not mullet-bound... you can have your nearest hair care professional thin the hair around the sides where you have the fluff-issue. Thinning can help reduce the volume. And, you can try products -- not just any goop, but good hair products (ask that hair care professional for tips -- I'd need to know more about your hair).

I save my head buzzed right down to grade a million or 2, i see a lot of boys with ***** lengthy emo hair- in truth a french bob lol with warm women even with the truth that so i'd wager maximum women like lengthy ***** emo hair.

go to a hairdresser and have him/her show you how to do your hair properly and use the right products. it's their job, and they know it well! the good ones can pretty much manipulate any hair to do anything! good luck!

use styling mousse or gel... but personally, i think u shud either keep it short all round or grow it long... no intermediate styles... there are a long passe...

straighten it and put mousse in it, and make sure you get a good shampoo. it might be that your ends are splitting abnormally fast.
